If you\u2019re an architect or designer, you\u2019ve undoubtedly heard about and have likely attended NeoCon<\/a>, the largest design exposition and conference for commercial interiors in North America. A show chock-full of inspiration and innovation, this is where creativity came to life for over 40,000 A&D professionals and over 700 exhibitors last week at Chicago\u2019s Merchandise Mart.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As a NeoCon newbie, I was amazed to see how celebrated and highly regarded the show is throughout the A&D community\u2014truly a creative\u2019s paradise. Whether you\u2019re drifting through Steelcase\u2019s colossal permanent showroom on the 3rd<\/sup> floor, exploring the exhibitor booths on 7 and 8, or trying to navigate the elevators and food court during the lunch rush, you can\u2019t escape the sense of excitement and urgency from tens of thousands of people trying to soak it all in.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tell Your Story client, USG Corporation<\/a>, was exhibiting their new Pixels Wall Mounted Panels<\/a> so most of my time was spent in their booth. However, I did manage to explore some of the other exhibits\u2014here are a couple of my favorite findings:<\/p>\n

Steelcase:<\/a> Global Posture Study &\u00a0Gesture\/ Task work chair.<\/p>\n

Steelcase conducted a global posture study in 11 countries, observing 2000 people in a wide range of postures and uncovered nine new postures as a result of new technologies and behaviors.\u00a0The Gesture chair was designed specifically for how the human body interacts with today\u2019s technologies. The orange one would be perfect for Tell Your Story folks!<\/p>\n
