I am a <a href=\"http:\/\/anniebeard.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Senior Strategic Communication major<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohio.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Ohio University<\/a>, and I am interning with Tell Your Story this summer.\u00a0 I met George while he was spending time at Ohio U. as the Visiting Professional of Public Relations at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. After a few weeks of follow-up emails and calls, I found myself in Chicago working alongside the amazing Tell Your Story team!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It has been great so far, and I have already learned so much from these PR Pros. I have gotten a lot of hands-on experience with social media, blog writing, competitive audits, press releases and writing content for newsletters\u2014basically everything that a PR nerd, like myself, could hope for!\u00a0 I have also been working closely with George on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.coworkersllc.com\">CoWorkers<\/a>, the co-working space he co-founded. (That\u2019s a lot of co\u2019s).\u00a0 It has been a lot of fun getting to know the members and spending time in the offices, and I am excited to see CoWorkers continue to grow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The summer is already flying by, but it has been a great experience. I am excited to continue learning from and working with the Tell Your Story team and to make the most of the time I have left in Chicago!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi, everyone, Annie Beard here!
