Who wouldn\u2019t? We love them. That\u2019s why we put our own letter together highlighting how far we\u2019ve come in the past year.Back in <b>December 2010<\/b>, we first incorporated Tell Your Story Brand Communications Inc. with a purpose to \u201cmake things happen for people so they can be happier and more successful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Too lofty of a purpose for a tiny, little agency? We don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been inspired by \u201cpurpose-driven branding\u201d thinking from Eduardo Conrado at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motorolasolutions.com\/US-EN\/Home?WT.tsrc=Georedirects\"> rel=&#8221;nofollow&#8221;Motorola Solutions<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itsnotwhatyousell.com\/spence-about.htm\" rel=\"nofollow\">Roy Spence<\/a>, author of It\u2019s Not What You Sell<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Its-What-Sell-Stand-Extraordinary\/dp\/1423381343\">, It&#8217;s What You Stand For<\/a>. We saw them both speak in <b>May<\/b> at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketing.org\/i4a\/pages\/index.cfm?pageid=1\" rel=\"nofollow\">National Business Marketing Association<\/a> Conference in Chicago. If you ever get the chance, hear them speak.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We believe that thinking about your own personal purpose and the purpose of your business leads to inspiring work that really helps people grow professionally and personally. And we\u2019ve put that thinking to action for several clients this year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daymarck.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Daymarck<\/a>, a medical coding company in the home care industry, we help them communicate how they want to improve healthcare in this country by enhancing home care \u2013 one medical code at a time. We attended two of their trade shows in <b>July<\/b> in San Diego and in <b>October<\/b> in Vegas. We are an integral part of their team spreading the word and helping them grow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For transportation company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onramptransportation.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">OnRamp Transportation Services<\/a> and its service company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.equinoxlife.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Equinox<\/a>, we developed emotionally-relevant communications (visual and verbal) communicating how they exist to help independent, hard-working truckers succeed in the rough world of driving a truck. We traveled with them to Dallas in <b>August<\/b> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gatsonline.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Great American Trucking Show<\/a>), to Ohio in <b>July<\/b> and to Indianapolis in <b>September<\/b> helping them share their story to the industry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-auto wp-image-480 alignleft\" title=\"Social PR Manager\" src=\"http:\/\/tellyourstoryinc.com\/wpdev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/social-pr-manager.jpg\" alt=\"Social PR Manager\" width=\"350\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For drywall and plaster installer, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trinitydps.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Trinity Drywall<\/a>, we hit on a key attribute they posses that is valued above all else by their customer, the general contractor. We helped them emotionally talk about how they help contractors \u201cpush the job\u201d by eliminating \u201cobstacles\u201d that are ever-present on a job site. We traveled to their location in Fort Worth in <b>February<\/b> to meet with executives and nail down their messaging to the marketplace.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dupagemedicalgroup.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">DuPage Medical Group<\/a>, a Chicago area physician\u2019s group, who is looking to attract the best and brightest doctors from across the country to practice there, we developed an independent-minded and pointed advertisement appealing to the traits and wants\/needs of this target audience. Didn\u2019t have to travel far for that one.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"http:\/\/public.ifbyphone.com\/?ibp-camp=brandsearch&amp;ibp-custom=&amp;ibp-keyword=ifbyphone&amp;ibp-matchtype=e&amp;gclid=CI2M8ZvEk60CFYHAKgodAGdymA\" rel=\"nofollow\">ifbyphone<\/a>, a short cab ride away from our downtown Chicago offices, we conducted a social media audit in <b>November<\/b> and gave recommendations on how they can spread the word of their technology and point-of-view through various traditional PR and social media channels more effectively.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And in the pipeline for 2012 (cross your fingers for us) is a well-known career site and service, a major office equipment provider, a Chicago-based novelty candy company and many more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As we continue our story into 2012 and beyond, we\u2019ll always try to stay true to our purpose of making things happen so we can all be happier and more successful.
